ROYAUME-UNI
 William Morris, qui devint plus tard Lord Nuffield, créé une entreprise de cycle en 1893 qui se transforme en contructeur de véhicules moteur en 1912, la "Morris Motor Company".
"Morris Commercial" fusionnera avec Austin en 1951 pour former "Austin-Morris" qui lui-même rejoindra le groupe "BMC" (British Motor Corporation) en 1954. La marque "Morris" sera utilisée jusque dans les années 80 et appartient desormais à "BMW".
