 En 1932, "Fageol Motors Company" d'Oakland (Californie) fut contrainte à la banqueroute aprés avoir produit des camions pendant 17 ans. Les administrateurs judiciaires, avec l'aide de "Waukesha Motor Company" et the "Central Bank of Oakland" maintenèrent l'activité jusqu'à ce qu'un exploitant forestier, Theodore Alfred Peterman reprene l'affaire en 1939.
En 1945, l'entreprise est reprise par un groupe employés et en 1958 devient une filiale de "Pacific Car & Foundry" (Paccar).
